French Clay - a pretty pink based pale brown

From the Merchant & Mills linen collection, this is a beautiful, medium weight, washed linen that is suitable for sewing almost anything. Tops, trousers, skirts, dresses, bags and even light home decor. The high quality linen is not only a pleasure to sew, but will also last for seasons to come. And because it is laundered, it is wonderfully soft and easy to care for - giving that crumpled lived in look. 

You will find slubs and irregularities in the threads and weave of this 100% linen fabric - just what we love about it. The colour intensity may soften slightly with washing.
